what in the hell is a D16W9?

It has to be based on the D17 architecture, which differs from other Dseries motors. This must be in some other country.

Re: d16w9 head on a d17?

yah obviously, its a total different d16w9 wich is like a copy of the d17 only 100 cc less n with a different head and only comes in asia... i was jus askin cuz i blew my motor a while bak, now i only got a d17 block wich will be supported by a d16w9 head since the head is fine....jus curious cuz my cars turbod so i was hoping that there arent n e problems later on since the head is 1.6 n the block is 1.7, but both r basically the exact same
