suspension "clunking"
suspension "clunking"
I have TEIN SS coilovers and at the moment my car is making weird noises in the rear suspension. It's properly aligned and distributed evenly.
When I go over even the smallest bump something in the suspension is making a "clunk". I have no clue what it is. There is no noise when I take turns even when going well above what you should be. There is no problem with handling or performance, but this clunking sound is very annoying and I am worried that it may become a problem.
Any suggestions or help?
Thanks.

*ahem* date check... That, and dude hasn't logged on since July..
But, for anyone searching for answers on the question at hand, I have that issue, and it's my rear sway bar. I know this because I physically grabbed the bar and was able to recreate the sound. Furthermore, the rear tire hitting the rear fender would make much more than a clunk.

i had clunk on my front sway bar for over a year and it just get louder and louder and i was riding on tein stech. i changed out front sway bar bushing and the noise faint a lil but still making noise. so next me and my dad check the linkage to see if it was hitting against the lower control arm, but we didnt see any marks on either the linkage or control arm. so i decide to minus well buy a set of linkage and change it out then all of a sudden the noise went away like completly. so my conclusion is dropping ride height like tein s tech spring have alot of impact on ur suspensions.
