I have a 97 honda civic ex model and for some strange reason when I have my cd player playing the entire right side speakers just decide to make nothing but very light static sounds. The left side works great it's just the right side. i'm not sure if this is a wiring problem or if something is shorting out but it bugs the hell out of me when i'm driving. One other thing the right side speakers do come back on and go off multiple times any help would be awesome. and my car has over 172,000 miles on it don't know if that is any help lol.

Have you actually removed the speakers to inspect them?
They can either be blown, or a wire loose behind the speaker.

i only been able to check the front ones but most likely i'll be replacing all the speakers with new ones. my brother abused the car we he owned it

i have also lost my passenger side speakers, when the cd player is on. radio works perfectly in both sides. i replaced the rear speakers on both sides and no change. i swapped them with one another and no change. intermittently, the passenger side will come on but they soon go back to fuzzy. i have inspected behind both front speakers and disconnected and reconnected them. i have swapped the front speakers for one another and no change. i have the 6 disc changer in the trunk. any ideas would be much appreciated.
