Exclamation 96 Civic - How to access rear speakers?

Hi I have a 96 Civic Sedan DX and I don't know how to access the rear speakers. I got to the front ones fine, by just popping off the grill. But there's no slit on the rear deck grills, so I don't know if I'm supposed to pop it off. Do I have to take the plastic panel off under the rear windshield?

Check out this link I found: http://lonewolfonline.net/honda-civi...rear-speakers/

I looked at mine yesterday and I'm not sure you have to go to this extent - I think I can get my rear panel off just by unhooking the brake light wire and working it up from the front center. It is hot out now though - so maybe it's more pliable???
