Ok guys, finally getting around to installing my front two speakers on my 2000 civic coupe. Earlier in the week, it rained really bad and my passenger window was slightly open and a lot of water got in. Both the front right and back right speakers stopped working, along with my amp. So, I was guessing my amp was dead so i was like whatever, i can just replace the speakers for now and mess with the amp later. As im installing though, i pull out the speakers and see this:



So from that picture Im guessing there is a +/- going into the front driver-side speaker, and a +/- going out and back to the back speaker? Never heard of it, but then again, never had a foreign car. So, would someone please tell me what do i do with these four cords. =)

Also, if the front passenger speaker went out, would the rear passenger speaker stop working until there is a connection again? AND, lol, would this possibly be forcing my amp into protect? I have a solid ground, a solid connection from the battery, speaker wires are matched, +/- for the speakers are not touching, fueses are fine, ive checked everything. The thing is, the amp comes on and is in ready mode, but when the first sound comes out of the speakers the amp goes into protect. Puzzling @_@
