97 civic dx headlight wiring problems
97 civic dx headlight wiring problems
I have a 97 Civic DX, the passenger low beam does not work, I bought a new set of lights today and it still doesn't work. The drivers side high and low beam works fine, only the high beam on the passenger side works. I have also swapped the bulbs from the drivers side to the passengers side and still the same problem. Also when I have my low beams on my parking lights go off, when i flick to high beams they come on. I have absolutely no clue what is going on here, if someone could help and shed some light on this situation I would greatly appreciate it.
Re: 97 civic dx headlight wiring problems
I would check your fuses. There should be a 10A fuse fore each low beam and each high beam. As for the parking lights problem, I have no clue unless you possibly tapped something into that circuit i.e. fog lights, halos, running lights, driving lights, ect. Double check any aftermarket wiring kits that intergrate into the lighting system.

Re: 97 civic dx headlight wiring problems
sounds like something messed with the wiring, or possibly the headlight switch. or a bad ground connection.
