Hello,
I am tire (All Weather" tire shopping for a 1997 Honda Civic coupe SI base, the tire size for this car is 185/60/R14 according to Honda, the tire companies want to put 185/65R14 85 ps130 on. Honda website says you must use original tire size, tire shops say the 185/65R14 is ok to use.
Would using the 185/65R14 versus the 185/60R14 cause any issues ie safety, wear, etc? The selections in the original size is limited.
Thank you
