I have the same question for the same size on mine,
and no not lowered at this time.

But will lowering 1.5 - 2 " make that much of a difference ?

If your car is not lowered they will fit and look like this:

If you lower it to much the wheels will hit the fender unless you roll them or run negative camber. Not sure how close 1"-1.5" will put you you.
