Driving issues at 60+mph...
So I have a 96 ex coupe, and this might be elementary to a lot of people, but when i drive 60+mph, i can feel the front of the car shaking and i can feel the steering wheel shake as well. I checked for bearing and tie rod issues and both of my tie rods were pretty bad making the wheels clunk when moving left to right, so i swapped out one but its still just as bad. im waiting to swap the other and i was wondering if anything else could be causing that? could an alignment issue cause that?

No, alignment will not cause it. You will need to align car after replacing, though. when replacing, try to adjust to have the wheels as straight as possible - tie-rod will change the toe and it kills tires if toe too off.
Also, replace the tie-rod first - it seems they are the culprit. If not, you will find out quickly - hard to say anything else from a distance.
While down there, take a look for another torn or ripped stuff too pry around with pry bar to see if parts move easy or not.
just in case, balance the tires when you are there for alignment

? are the tires bad? I meant to say that if you don't adjust the toe, it could kill your tires in as less as a few days, new or used. see how to eyeball the alignment before heading to the alignment shop.
to adjust the toe, you will need to lose the lock nuts on the tie-rods and spin the rod (not the nuts
- yeah, i know it sounds bad...) to lenghten or shorten the rod.
If you replaced the spindle yourself, you should have the mechanical experience to align it yourself. It will be a lot of work, but it may cost next nothing.
Park the car on level pavement. Keep in mind the street has a crown in it. Adjust air pressure to your preference. Eye ball the front tire just to see if it is far enough out to see.
Center the steering wheel and measure from one front tire to the other at the front and rear of the tires. That will tell you toe in. If the one tire is pointing straight with the steering wheel straight, adjust the other tire.
You can then measure chamber by placing a bubble level vertically against the tire. Compare to the other front tire.
That will get you as close as possible by eyeball and measuring what you can.
If it is close enough to drive safely, drive it to the shop to align

Re: Driving issues at 60+mph...
well, i switched out the inner tie rod yesterday and tried to make sure that the new one had the bolt on the same distance as the old one, so idk.... ill check tomorrow
Re: Driving issues at 60+mph...
so i replaced the other tie rod and it was still doing it so i took it to a tire shop to get both of them balanced and to get a new one on one of them, and it so turned out when they were putting on the new tire the guy noticed that my rim was bent on the inside. he showed me the tire spinning and it was wobbling. so once he swapped out a new tire and rim and i took it out and everything is fine now. thanks for the help guys.
Re: Driving issues at 60+mph...
Don't replace only one tire, replace at least two... (the fronts). Sorry but it almost soundsd like your going to replace one. You want equal treads on the two fronts.. same with the rears.
