Re: Oil light on after removing bad speed sensor
It's most likely not the electronic spray in oil but more likely corroded wires causing ECU feedback/idle issues. Your car may be in limp mode? You may have to splice in another speed sensor harness. First, try an ECU reset (idle relearn) and report back.
ECU reset:
1) Turn off all electronics (radio, dome light, headlights, interior lights, etc..)
2) Disconnect the negative terminal from battery
3) Turn on headlights and press brake pedal a few times to discharge any residual current
4) Wait 5 minutes and then reconnect negative cable terminal to battery (make sure headlights and all electronics are turned off prior to connecting battery).
5) Start the engine and let it idle until radiator fan engages twice (roughly 15 minutes)

Re: Oil light on after removing bad speed sensor
Started the car up and both the oil light and cel were gone! idled really rough for about 2 min then stalled out. After stall the oil light came back
Started her up again and she revved up to about 1000k rpms sat there for a minute then stalled again. Could it still be the bad speed sensor causing it to stall?

Did you purchase a Honda Genuine 9oem) speed sensor or aftermarket? Aftermarket suck. Also, the speed sensor is transmission dependent (manual or automatic) and you'll want to match up the speed sensor's gear teeth to the one you removed to ensure they match correctly. Have you checked continuity and voltage of speed sensor harness?

Re: Oil light on after removing bad speed sensor
replace the vss connector though, it's as ugly as the corroded sensor.
Imo oil light should be unrelated.
