Unable to remove old blower motor.

Hi everyone, I am currently trying to replace the blower motor in my 1999 Honda Civic EX. I removed the 3 screws holding it in place, and the blower is loose and wants to come out, but there's an ABS control unit in the way.

Is it safe to unplug and remove the ABS control unit temporarily? If so, any tips on how to go about removing it?

I wouldn't hesitate to unplug it if I thought it necessary, but I might also just unbolt the unit and move it aside without unplugging wiring.
Whatever it takes to reach the goal.

2 or 3 bolts or something?
