Hi Everybody!

I just bought a 97 Civic around the end of September and it was a great little car, until my boyfriend wrecked it into a deer about a month later. I don't think that has to do with any of the issues I'm having now, it just sucks.

Anyway, we ended up getting pulled over one night because apparently the running lights on the back of the car were out. Brake lights still worked fine, so we bought some new bulbs, but that still didn't fix the issue, so we had been driving with the flashers on at night like the officer instructed us to do. Welllll, now the flashers have gone out as well as both turn signals. Brake lights are still totally fine though.

Does anyone happen to know what might be causing this? I'm assuming it's either a fuse or wiring somewhere, but I really need to get it fixed because it's dark by the time I get off work and my boyfriend works third, so obviously it's dark when he goes in, and we've literally been pulled over every day last week. I'd kind of like to not have to worry about that.

Any advice you can give would be much appreciated!

do your headlights and tail lights work if you turn them on manually?

My headlights work fine, which is weird because when the deer was hit it was on the front passenger side, taking off half the light and side panel. None of the other lights will work at all. A couple days after this issue started, my boyfriend said while he was driving he was still in the habit of using the turn signals and it worked for a second, then stopped again.

Did you check the fuses? Maybe there is a short that caused a fuse to blow.
