00 engine swap problems
I have a 00 civic with 1.6 vtec which was blown so I picked up a 99 1.6 non vtec
Installed new motor and now the car runs but has an idle problem idle keeps going up and down and the person who put motor in says I need to change the computer from the vtec to non vtec to make it run right also I put the excaust manifold from the vtec to the non vtec engine because the vtec had duel outlets where the non had only one not sure if that makes a diff but wanted to. Let who ever reads this know all I did also if I change the computer do you know if I can use the vtec wiring harness or should I change that too any help with this problem would be appreciated thank you in advance

IAC stuck open? Vacuum leaks?
IAC not heating up/stuck in cold mode due to low coolant or poor coolant flow through the valve or system?
