Alex Yoas is an unknown quantity at this point
cel issue obd1

Hey everyone I have a 95 del sol I just finshed and it drives just fine, however after 5-10 minutes the cel comes on with 3 codes and my car runs very poor. The idle drops after it comes to a stop and then rises to normal idea and it picks up speed very slow.

So the codes it throws are 6, 21, and 23 which are

21* VTEC Solenoid Valve
6 ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature
23 KS (Knock Sensor)

Is it one of these things tripping the other 2? Should I replace them all? Any help is appreciated.

Re: cel issue obd1

Those systems may be fused together

or there may be a short in a wire or set of wires

I would buy a hayness manual and a multimeter and work backwards from the item effected through it's circuit to find the problem.
