Re: 97 Honda cooling fan

How do you know the fan relay works? How did you check it?

What else has been tested?

Is it overheating?

The way they are set up, it can take a long dang time before the fan needs to run.

Wait a sec...A moderator removed the other post with more info

My cooling fan is working but it won't come on when my engine is hot the relay works the fan itself works but somethings not right help please
Locate the temp switch for the fan on the thermostat housing, unplug it. Use a bent paper clip to jump the terminals in the harness, see if the fan turns on.

The fan is not supposed to run all the time. It's only supposed to run when needed.
