Hi, can anyone offer advice please, my Honda Civic v-tec2 1997 1.5l has developed a rattle noise after i accelerate and its getting worse. I can hear the noise for a few seconds either after i change gears then increase speed or just be increasing speed without changing gears. I took it to a garage for advice and they said it was the fan belt rattling against the chassis so they replaced it.....needless to say it was not the cause and the noise is getting worse. There is no obvious affect on the performance of the car. Thank you

You'd get a lot more answers in the right section, this section is for mechanical issues with 8th and 9th gen civic (2006-current)
Hopefully a mod will pop in and move it to the right section, so your question can be answered.
