Issues Accelerating

After stopping at a red light and pressing the gas pedal to go, my car is having issues accelerating. It starts moving very slowly and will take about 10 to 15 seconds before accelerating.

Transmission issue???

is it a manual or automatic? my guess is automatic? does it shift funny after it's started moving?

It's automatic, I don't notice any shifting.
