Over Heating

My car overheated about 3 days ago. no coolant.. but coolant in it . temperature hand is still rising. took it to auto zone they said temperature coolant system if the coolant didn't work. so i after i left there i took it to a place called big als. to get another opinion they come back and says that i have a misfire in a 4 cylinders which i dnt understand because i just got all that replaced. then they go to tell me i need a new motor which i think is a lie. after i leave big ale my car is not running right its hesitating to pick up speed. what could be the cause. should i take it somewhere else to get an opinion

Absolutely.

I'd strongly urge you to take it to someone competent and honest.
