I did a 2 hour drive today and on my way back the car started to misfire goimg up hill at acceleration check engine light was flashing when this happened. Seems like it's only doing it under load. I just replaced cap rotor the plugs and wires are a few months old. Any ideas?

Re: 99 civic misfire

What have you done to diagnose this problem so far?
What have you done to try to correct the problem so far?

Check engine light on?
Got codes AND freeze frame data?

Is it a dead hole misfire?
Is it an ignition miss?
Is it a fuel starvation miss?

Is it easy to duplicate the miss?

Junk new parts?

Re: 99 civic misfire

I put new cap and rotor that's all. I know it's missfire from checking the code
