Center dash vents

On my "00 EX, they don't blow with even force. The left center pushes much more air than the right center. Is that normal or does it need some looking into?

Re: Center dash vents

It might just be due to the shape of the ductwork behind the vents.
Look at duct #1 in the pic, it looks like the left half gets a 'straight shot' but the right has much less of a 'straight shot', like it has an angle or bend to go around.

Awesome pic, thanks! I do see a difference but it appears so minute, I can't imagine it causing the amount of difference I have in air movement.

Well, both center vents are fed by the same duct. The shape of the duct determines which vent gets more airflow.

As long as nothing is blocking the right vent, I don't think you are gonna be able to change how much airflow comes out of it.

Thanks, it is what it is. The next time I need to tear into the stereo, I'll have a look for any foreign obstructions.
