Low gearSlipping: PLEASE HELP!!!!

98 civic Lx. Automatic Trans.
This morning I stooped at red light and when I took off low gear was basically non existent. Major slippage and the D4 shift indicator light was and remains steadily flashing. What is it telling me and what could b causing the slippage? All other gears appear to b functioning properly.

Flashing D light means there's a fault code in the trans controller.

Read codes.
