Aftermarket radio problem

I replaced my stock radio with an aftermarket kenwood one and it worked perfectly fine. However that same night I hopped in my car and realized the interior dash lights didn't work (heat, ac, speedometer, gas gauge, etc.) but the dome and overhead lights did. So I took it out and replaced everything, respliced the wires yadda yadda, now the interior lights work but the radio will not turn on at all. So i checked all the wires again, respliced them and the radio just won't won't turn on. The radio fuse is good and so is the radio fuse in the fuse box, all the wires are connected properly as well. Is it possible I fried my radio somehow? Or is there a specific wire I should look check on? Please help thank you

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
