Rep Power: 0 Installing lower left motor mount on 1997 Civic
I'm installing a new motor mount by the front left wheel. It's the mount you have to take off to get the ac belt off.
When I put the new mount over the bolt that's coming from the engine, the hole in the rubber part of the mount is a good size bigger than the bolt.
I've read in another forum that this is normal but I wanted to make sure.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Bolt it in, it doesn't really matter where it lands.
It's not a critical mount or anything...I always heard it's really only there to sorta guide the engine in the event of a front end collision.
