Unbalanced feel at low rpm??
Unbalanced feel at low rpm??
Hey all I'm new to the forum just recently bought a 98 dx with a h22 swap that's boosted.
Had to do a head gasket on it, so I took the head in and had it checked, it had a few bent valves, had all intake valves replaced and all are SS and dished for the compression.
Anyway the main point is that I started the car earlier this week and seemed fine till I gave it a little throttle, seems unbalanced at the low rpm range. Smooths out perfectly fine once it reaches a certain point. At least from what I can tell.
Whoever built the motor decided to leave out one of the balance shaft pulleys and the belt all together of course, obviously this is going to leave the motor to be "unbalanced", it just didn't seem to be this noticeable when I first bought the car.
Anyone with any experience in this area or know if this is normal for this kind of build or not please chime in! I'd greatly appreciate it!
I think I posted in the correct area haha
