Rep Power: 0 Random stalling and shifting at high rpms
Hello, I have a '98 Honda Civic LX, automatic transmission and I've been having some issues, recently I replaced my cranshaft position sensor, air filter, oil filter, and my idle air control sensor, and i also topped off my transmission fluid. My car will randomly stall at stop signs and red lights and it has also been going to about 4,000-5,000 rpms to shift into any gear, and when down shifting it shifts kind of hard, I can't seem to figure out the problem and I am quite stumped . If anyone has any ideas or solutions, please feel free to share them! Thank You!

Maybe you should just have the transmission flushed? When is the last time you had that done? And what about your radiator? How old is it? When was the last time it was flushed? Perhaps it is restricted and your transmission fluid is not cooling properly?
