Quick Question

Hi there,

I just bought a 2000 Honda Civic EX Automatic

so it was giving me this p1399 code which any random misfire, so i replaced the sparkplugs and wires and still idle's rough, seems like it wants to die, still get the same check engine light, I don't know what else to replace

but my main concern is this, you are just in park and you try to move the shift lever to reverse its so hard to get it into reverse and out of reverse, all other options like d4/d3/d2 are very smooth, its only reverse, someone told me there is a cable below the shift lever thats corroded and needs cleaned up, I don't know about that, but does anybody have any idea so to what is the problem

Re: Quick Question

It could be a shifting connector underneath the plastic or a bad transmission
