Passenger window rolls down slow while raining

Only when raining or shortly after it rains does this happen. I can't figure out where water would have to get to to make this happen. Any suggestions?

Water is allowed to get everywhere inside the door.

I'd suspect a run channel and/or seal problem.....

Re: Passenger window rolls down slow while raining

If the other windows go up & down well in the rain, then I'd pull off the inside door panel and lube all the tracks and the drive gear... I'd also check the electrical connectors in the passengers door for moisture (Green...).

On a 2001 civic I had, ( I bought it with 80K miles on it), I had to replace the master window switch on the drivers door twice. Each time it was the passengers window that would not operate any more. I had to run a direct wire off the battery to get that window closed each time until I got the new switch. Just food for thought. I really have no idea why this happened...

Good luck.

P.S. Is your alternator belt tight enough?
