When I change gears and push my clutch in I notice my RPM gauge will bog down to to about 400 then go up to 1000 and when I go to rev the engine to fully change gears it takes a second for the engine to actually pick and reach the RPMS I am trying to get it to. While I am in gear if I press the pedal down, even all the way, it does not acelerate very fast at all and then BOOM it will just jump kick in or it feels like i has different stages of accelerating and you feel each one. Any suggestions? I am no mechanic at all but I really love my 1998 civic ex and I want to take good care of it so please help out if you can!
