Check Engine light

Check engine light came on in my 97 civic coupe with d16y8.. I'm wondering what i need to check to figure out what is wrong it drives fine obviously theres something wrong can anyone help???

Re: Check Engine light

Go to AutoZone or the like, have them read the code. Obtain the code NUMBERS, not the description. The code numbers will be in a "P with 4 digits" format.
I don't care about what parts their code reader tries to sell you.

Report back with real numbers and we will see if we can help you.
