Water on Passenger side front and back
Water on Passenger side front and back
I have a 1998 EX 4 dr. with a sunroof. I suspect this has been an ongoing problem but just now noticed it.
The floors carpeting is completely soaked on the passenger front side and back side. The seats, the side wall carpeting and the drivers side front and back are all dry.
I noticed this while cleaning the kids mess up in the back. I removed a thick rubber floor mat and found the carpeted floor mats to be soaked. I removed them and found the carpet underneath soaked. It is worse in the back than in the front. With that being said, My driveway is on an incline. The front of my car sits higher than the back.
What do you think I'm looking at? Sunroof leak? Air con. evaporator clog? Windshield/rear glass seals bad?
I appreciate any advice, ideas, tips, tricks on how to figure out where the water is coming from.
Thanks!

Re: Water on Passenger side front and back
Could be:
Evaporator drain, sunroof drain, door vapor barrier, rust holes.
Could be anything. You just have to chase it.
Edit, saw your other post. Water leaks aren't something I can just call out. You have to do some work. Clean up the mess, start dry. Soak the car, find where it comes in at. Knowing if it leaks in a rain, or only while driving makes a difference in where you look, only one of those defies the laws of gravity.
Bodywork throws a huge variable in the mix, human error can be darn tough to figure out sometimes.
