99 civic fuel gauge stuck on full
99 civic fuel gauge stuck on full
I have a 1999 honda civic ex. The fuel gauge is continuously reading full. I disconnected the cable going to the sending unit and the gauge remained on full. I checked the voltage it was supposed to be between 5-8volt but the reading came out at 12.33V. I then pulled the instrument cluster and found the previous owner had a similar problem because there was marking all over the fuel guage and temp gauge which are located in the same section. Basically I want to know if this is a guage cluster problem? (ie bad wiring in the actual cluster) can i confidently go buy a new gauge cluster? I was also thinking it might be the voltage regulator because the high voltage in the back by the sending unit, but then i think the voltage regulator should be connected to the temp gauge as well because they are in the same cluster. HELP?!
Re: 99 civic fuel gauge stuck on full
If your honda civic is a black sedan, you can earn some money to fix your problem by renting your civic to us for our feature film. We're legit and there are no stunts, car chases, or explosions. Our original prop car moved to Colorado. Thanks.
