won't start

i have a 2000 Civic LX and it won't start without a jump. as soon as i touch the terminals it fires right up. i have a new battery and no signs of a bad altenator. it appears many of us on here are having the problem with 1996 through 2000 cars of all models. i had the problem in march, put a new battery in a problem solved until earlier this week.what is wrong with this car? ANY help? please!!!

Re: won't start

Well, I gave you a response in the other thread if you wanted to go there and check, but I'll post it here as well. Have you checked the cable connections?
My car did something similar. I put a nail between the terminal and cable clamp and that solved my issue.
What exactly is happening when the car doesn't start? Is it just a *click* dead type of scenario? Is it cranking and not starting? We need a little more info if you're gonna want us to help you out.
