I thought my problems were all corrected, but...
Occasionally, now at stop light the check engine light comes on
Still idles ok
However, when you take off it is like a bucking Bronco
Pulled over and ran RPMs up and once reving up it smooths out no tach so guessing around 1500-1700 rpms. Then back to idle which is fine but just above idle it is not happy
Also, sometimes if pull over then turn engine off and restart it is fine
If it continues to run bad for that trip usually short mileage, it is fine the next time you drive it
Very intermittent at this point
Sets code P0505
Thanks for the advice

1.Pull the air tube from the throttlebody.
2. Put your finger(s) over the lower port in the throttlebody.
Did engine speed drop?
YES- Adjust the idle speed (by turning the idle adjusting screw on the throttlebody). Idle speed for auto tranny- 750rpm +/- 50 (in N or P). Idle speed for manual tranny- 670rpm +/- 50. If impossible to adjust replace the IACV.
NO- Check for vacuum leaks
Also, make sure the throttle plate closes fully and that it swings smoothly. Also inspect the throttle cable.
All that being said, this stuff is straight from the service manual. It may turn out that you just have a dirty IACV or throttlebody and they just need a good cleaning. I would definitely clean the IACV before replacing it ($250).
IACV is #2 and the idle screw is #1: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/south...t=0&quantity=0
