Well I just got the car and I noticed that the inside smells like fumes when I drive it. Not even with the Vtec kicking in. It is still fine and drives fast like normal. No leaks or anything. I have the check engine light on and went to emissions, Of course I was going to fail. I never have anything like black smoke or anything. They told me it was the Cat. I went to An auto parts store to get a direct fit Cat. Will that work, and does it sound like just a "cat?" Oh and its a Magnaflow. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Cats wear out overtime, so the emissions testing people are likely correct, you may also need new 02 sensors as well.

My car threw the same code about a month and a half ago. I put fuel system cleaner in it, did some high rev driving and it hasn't come back on since . Maybe I got lucky? But if you're smelling gas, then it's probably toast. I didn't smell any gas when I drove mine.

You have an exhaust leak , check all the exhaust mani bolts make sure they are tight then remove the heat sheild, chances are there is a crack there right around the 02 sensor bung area. You will not be able to see it with that sheild on there and it will trigger that code, next where the header meets the pipe check that donut gasket it can leak as well. Any exhaust leak from the primary to the secondary o2 sensor will trigger that code, same for a cat that is pretty much done. Hondas seem especially sensitive to this for some odd reason.

It just had its things here and there I will change, like he cut the springs. I want to get some to replace them and still keep a low ride height. Is there anyone that I can get that does not cost a pocket full, like Tein.

teins are great, I have them on mine with dropzone struts, it works very well and its a comfortable ride. I know not everyone thinks dropzones are good struts but I have not had a hitch with them. Plus they do have a lifetime warranty.

tein s springs (they are green ones) and dropzone struts you can get them off ebay, with factory strut mounts. gives me about a 2" drop all around.

you can buy honda oem parts off ebay they just third party seller
i find ebay the fastest way to find parts
the ones i order from provide honda part number so then i know that i aint getting the wrong part

You should try eBay first or hit up a junkyard. The former might be a better option depending on your location. I found an OEM side mirror with the motor and everything still attached for sixty bucks at a junkyard. I recently picked up an OEM bumper off of eBay for more than half off the dealer price. Both items are the color I needed as well. You can also try Craigslist.

I don't think so. I'd have to double check. When I went to compare prices for say, an EX, the part numbers were exactly the same. Those pieces are easily swapped, so they should just fit all the same. That mirror I got wasn't from an Si.

i just got oem si front lip painted from the dealer 260
i compare them to my ebay front lip and the diffrence was like night and day

no 99-00 si came with factory fog light
it was an option but also made by an aftermarket company called raybrig
they also made the fog light kit for usdm integra type r, maybe they were jdm company that was put on civic sedans in japan
but i never went that deep in research though
