E-brake light wont turn off and exclamation in triangle??

E-brake light wont turn off and exclamation in triangle??
Hey guys, the e-brake light wont turn off on my dash even when it is definitely fully relieved, and there is also a orange triangle with an exclamation mark in it? any ideas on how to fix these thanks!

my 93 civic brake light stays on to but thats because i dont have a switch in the e brake to turn them off the idiot tha had the car before me cut it off tryin puutin your ebrake on a flip witch my friend did it to his and it cuts all the lights off wen u do it

e brake switch uses ground signals
check the connectors as it can be damage by water or some sort
or it could be the abs that if ur car have one
our 6th gen si doesnt have abs so thats one less problem to worrie about
or u can unplug the wire that is conneted to ur ebrake lever and
put it against the chassis to see if the light go out
if it does then its ur lever switch
