Clutch change 95 civic m/t

Hi all,

I need to change my clutch out. Of course I will replace the release bearing as well, but is there anything else I should change in the process?

A diagram would be awesome, but simple advice is always greatly appreciated!

Re: Clutch change 95 civic m/t

companies such as cardone offer a honda clutch kit,
comes with the whole bit,
pressure plate,
disk,
throw out bearing,
pilot bearing,
alignment tool,

that's the only way to go, then you have it all at once, and it all matches

yes also check your cv joint on the pass side because youll have to take it out anyway. also look for oil in the bell housing which could mean a rear main seal leak. not hard to change but a pain if you have to change it after you put it back together. a clutch change is pretty routine. not very hard if you know a little about what you are doing. ive done it several times and it can be done in a few hours with a buddy, and a case of beer. and while you are in there look for stuff that you cant easily access when the terans is in place. it will save ou time in the future
