No heat

Hi Everyone, I hope someone will be able to help me. I own a 2000 Civic Si (Canadian model) that I bought in 1999. Recently, and just when I need it, the heater control will turn but the fan does not force heat through the vents. I do feel warmth if I place my had over the driver side vent that blows on the door glass. My fuses appear to be fine, I had the auto-shop teacher and his students look at it. Any idea what might be wrong and possible cost predictions?

Crazy about my CiviC,
Thanks,
Kelly of Ontario,Canada

Re: No heat

if there is no fan, your blower motor system prolly has some problem. check the resistor/transistor first and replace if its burnt, otherwise it could be the motor itself. you should be able to see when the glove box is removed.

Re: No heat

if your thermostat is sticking or faulty then your going to have only luke warm to cold air coming through to you,, i think you can remove it and put it in some boiling water to see if it opens
