Re: clutch problams

Its the little tank beside the the brake fluid tank. Just check to see if there is fluid in it. Its pretty simple just look at the tank and there should be a line up at the top and thats the full line, just check to see if where it is at. If you dont have any in there then thats your problem if not that. If you do then there can be a air bubble in the line. Bleed it then refill it. This is the first things I would check since its the most simple things and the cheapest.

Next would be is the tranni slipping at all. Is the rpms going down. If this is so then the clutch could be about to go out.

Re: clutch problams

If it barely has any in it then that is your problem right there. I had that happen in my old ej cause the clutch master cylinder was bad itself and the fluid just ran dry quick and the clutch would just drop to the floor. But anyway if it is like black then I would say bleed it. The bleeder valve is located at the bottom of the firewall near the tranni. there will be a little nipple looking thing and that is it. An easy way to find it is to follow the tank and down by the firewall and you should eventually find it. But you use brake fluid for the clutch master cylinder just like for your brakes. I always use the honda fluid.

Ya you just fill it up till it hits the full line. It shouldnt take much.

Re: clutch problams

Ya if there is a leak then that will needed to be fixed or you will fill it up just to lose it all quick. And i am not to sure what part of it your talking about. Is it leaking in the slave cylinder. Here is a link to the clutch master cylinder at majestic. What exact part is it leaking from. Number 7 is the slave cylinder which is where the bleeder is.
