need some help troubleshooting problem plz.
i have a 2000 civic si,last thursday it was -13 degrees and my car did not start after work. changed the battery, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor button, and ignition coil, still not starting just cranking. today before work i will listen for fuel pump to prime,
to check the distributor can i just pull out a plug wire and set the tip on a metal part of the car and crank the engine so see spark or do i have to have the plug out as well?
also if the plug hole smells of gas after cranking it then that would rule out the pump correct???
appreciate any help if any more info is needed let me know
