how much better?
how much better is an h22 engine than a d16y8?
like how much more hp does it have and how much better is the acceleration nd top speeds?
just a stock h22 and a stock d16y8

Re: how much better?
my choice...H22 but i dont know either motor either?
but reason chose the H22:
- 2.0L DOHC VTEC
- Compression ratio is higher (try and get a JDM)
- Higher HP
- Bigger TQ then the D16Y8 engine

Re: how much better?
well i just looked up h22 vs d16y8 on google videos and i saw one where a prelude with an h22 won then i saw another with a different prelude but same engine lose to the d16y8.
so i can't really tell.
ok ANOTHER ?
what do you think of a d16y8 v.s. about a 2000 dodge neon bone stock
if the civic has an intake, headers, fitpipe, exhaust system, and a performance chip
so i can't really tell.

Re: how much better?
yea i like the hp and the torque.
but i'm not willin to pay a whole lot more for a swap right now.
i think i'm just gonna get a swap when i get ready for my next civic.

Either:
A) He can't drive
B) Something is wrong with the car mechanicaly
C) The other car had a little something special under the hood (perhaps a better driver??

Re: how much better?
If you wanted to swap it and it worked, I'd rather have a H than a D.
A prelude type S would be sick *drool*
