The OEM instructions tell you to go through the passenger side wheel well. There is a plastic plug you push out.

there is a hole in the pass footwell, but its hard to poke through. i used it and its possible, easier is under the driver footwell but you might need to drill a hole under the rubber part if you never got any alarm or system installed.

There is a large grommet on the passenger side. You can see it clearly from the engine bay if you have a CAI installed. If not, then remove the stock noise suppression air box. From inside, remove the passenger side panel from under the dash/glove box then pull back the carpet a bit in the foot well. You'll see the same grommet. In the engine bay the grommet has a large boot-like tail, under the dash its just round and fairly flush. You'll see the wires running through it.

Use a stiff piece of wire or a coat hanger to push through the middle of the grommet and get a lead. Make sure you tape the end of the coat hanger or something to ensure the end isn't sharp or you may end up piercing some wires (which you don't want to do).

Now you can simply tape the wire you are running to the end of the coat hanger and pull it back through....slowly.

fist things first, UNPLUG ur BATTER NEGITIVE TERMINALS to prevent all accidents. (important step that people neglect)

then take off ur bumper...

cut holes where ur gonna put ur fog

(im sure u did this already)

wiring:

ok so first take off the plastic shields... 1 below the steering wheel, and one below that.

below the previous shield

NOW IS THE IMPORTANT WIRING PATH...

if you look at ur driver side door, there is rubber grommet that runs from the door to the side panel of ur car (its for ur radio, windows, etc...)

ur basically gonna squeeze the +fog wire though there into ur driver side

NOTE: the driver side grommet hole is easier to access than the passenger side.

and if u look under ur steering wheel towards the panel, you will see a square hole...looks like it has some foam stuff around it. ur wire is gonna go through there...

you're going to have to unbolt a few clips on ur plastic fender wall

so ur gonna run it out through the square hole...and on ur fender, you will see a few small holes, and that is where ur going to continue running the +wire...

continue it to the front (ur bumper should be off), i grounded mine to my headlight bracket bolts.

dont put ur bumper on yet, plug in one fog and test it.

go back inside ur car and finsh up connecting all the wires

plug the batt back in, and test out ur foggies

if it works, connect both fogs, and put ur bumper on.

hope i helped you.

What about the wires? If I understand correctly you have the wires up right against a metal lip, correct?

When I did my fogs. I had 2 harnesses. 1 for the inside that went from the switch to the fuse box thingy under the dash. and another that went from 1 fog to the other, then up to the passenger headlight. Thats all I had to do, it was easy besides breaking some of the clips because they didn't fit right inside so I used a female connector instead.

X2, this is a definite possible short waiting to happen, wire against metal after a while can cause a short, defenatly fuse your wire if taking that route!!

Got them for Christmas and my dad bought them from ebay. In the listing it said they were OEM fog lights and on the box I got it look like a box from a dealer with "01-03" on the side of it.

most likely they mean wire a fuse into the fog light wiring harness so that u dont mess up the harness and ultimately the wiring in ur car!

yeah, wherever your taking your power from, put a fuse in-line as close as possible, so if a short happens, it will cut off power to the circuit so no fire will happen.

X3. not very smart to run a wire against a sharp metal lip especially when there's a lot of pressure on it.
