cool test tone generator...

well, thats what its called, test tone generator: http://www.softandco.com/Audio/MP3/c...Generator.html

its a program that produces test tones. i installed it on my laptop, and then connected my laptop to my HU via aux input, and voila, test tones to test out my system. i dont know how accurate it is, but i noticed that my crossovers on my amps weren't set right, because between 90Hz and 120Hz, i heard nothing, there was a gap, so i adjusted my Xovers and now, i dont hear gaps between 10Hz and 10,000Hz (well, i dont hear anything from 10Hz to 20Hz, but thats probably a sub/amp lmitation).
i just thought i'd give you guys a heads up. i was trying to find a downloadable test tone cd, but i couldn't find one (and i refuse to use kazaa to get one). its cool, check it out, well worth the same download.

that's because 20Hz is not audible to humans

i guess its something in my system that wont allow me to play that low, because i dont remember feeling anything either, 20Hz+ is where it was all at.

dont believe everything that you read. also, remember that a lot of cd players only have a range from 20-20,000 Hz
i know mine says 5 - 20000 hz
