Question RCAs behind HU

i took my headunit / AC control pod out yesterday so i could hardwire my stobe light, (no the apc ones, im a volunteer firefighter). so when i put it back, their was more interference comin outa my speakers. the only reason i can think of is that the rcas are touching each other, and the ground of each cable is coming in contact with each other. would that be a reason for the increased interference? can i wrap the connections with electrical tape to stop it? thanks for your help.

im talking about the actual connection between the rcas i ran and the pigtails coming off the headunit, the gound sleeve on the rcas are exposed, and i think when they touch its causing interference

My bet is that your noise is comming from switching signal to your strobe lights. If it only does it when they are on that's your problem, good 'ole EMI.

I had the worst noise problem about 6 months ago...and i did everything to try and correct it...and tried regrounding everything!! Anywayz to make a long story short, someone on the site suggested to jiggle the wires around behind the HU and reinsert it...and Walla, it worked!!! So try jiggling your wires a lil...ya never know.
