i just orded the stock fog light switch.. it did not come with the harness or anything. i want to use the switch as a toggle for my invertor. and have it light up with the interior lights and wen pushed in.

there are 5 pins.. anyone with stock foglight kit wanna try n help me out? maybe know which pin needs to be grounded / powered.. etc? just looking at ur stock wiring and see which prong uses what color wire would help some.

i tired playing with it using a test light and ive seem to figure out taht pin 1 and 2 are the toggle.. and the last pin needs to be grounded for the light to turn on wen its presed in.
so im assuming the pin 1 gets power from say batter.. pin 2 routes power to fog lights *in my case invertor) and the last 3 pins somehow are wired so that the button lights up with interior lights.. and lights up wen pushed in. so im guessin 2 more positive and 1 ground?
i dunno wut u guyz think?

If you go to your honda dealer they should be able to order you or provide you with a wiring schematic. If they cant, you might have to buy the service manuals...about $90 for the whole kit....includes the electronics system and the mechanical systems.

thanks were could i buy the service manual at? i been to pepboys.. never seen any books for new cars there.

The official Honda Service Manuals are available from your honda dealer.....make sure you get the one with the electerical system in it....I beleive they are two seperate books.

The Haynes manuals at pep boys are not nearly as good.......the honda manuals are what the repair guys at your dealer reference if they have to look something up
