i think dynamat works better and doesn't smell, but it costs a LOT more.

Yeah I use Dynamat then again where I live I really haven't seen Fatmat around. But I dynamated my trunk and it got rid of a lot of the rattle coming from it.

you dont have to heat fatmat, it rolls on nicely, and you can get 3 or 4 times more fatmat for the price of dynamat extreme... My smell went away in a week or two

i have heard that people have fatmated their whole trun and it still rattles,and i have dynamated mine and its silence. i might try some of the liquid fatmat on areas that are weird shaped. the only two things that suck about dynamat extreme is the price and it is a pain to get on since the pieces are always bent so get have to it really hot to roll it on smoothely
