Tweeters
I want to get tweeters for my car but im not sure which size to go with. I searched and I saw 3/4" and 1". Which one will give me the most trouble free installation? I was looking at Infinity Reference (match my interiors), Infinity Kappa and Rockford Fosgate. Any recommendations?

hums..... i suggest u go listen to them urself at the store..... but IMO...... for that price..... i'd go wid AVI EL series...... i just luv the sound the tweeters make......
I put in reference series 605CS a couple of weeks ago. I mounted the tweets just in front of the door handle pull, centered in that area. They sound great, installation was easy (once you get a 1.75" hole saw) and they look sweet. Send me a personal message reminder with your e-mail address and I'll send you some pictures.
you cant really just hook up a set of tweeters just liek that in yrou car, I would reccommend getting a nice coaxial or an entrylevel component set instead, liek teh entire infinity reference set. its really quite reasonable in cost online, and you get all the parts you need, makes wiring VASTLY easier

I know I need a crossover. A while ago the guy who designed my box also told me how to do my system. He told me 3 ways or 4 ways in the back and 3 or 4 ways up front with tweeters. He said my bass from the rear would be good enough so I would benefit from running highs up fron instead of mids ans highs. I know Im probably not making sense. Tell me what you think.
BTW: Im a poor college student so please dont tell me I need some mad expensive speakers.

If you are really tight on money, don't waste your money on the 3 or 4 way speakers up front and in back. Instead, just divert all of that money into getting a REALLY GOOD set of component separate speakers up front. Trust me, you don't want to half-@ss this, try your best not to skimp and do your research before you buy. When you do get some more $$$ and if you feel it necessary, invest in some rear fill speakers. But for now, if your bass is good, just worry about setting a good front stage and powering it.
Edit: BTW- if you can get mids, highs, and bass up front...more power to you
