I was installing my sunvisor screens and i was stumped when it came to the power wire, should i go direct to the battery or somewhere else, please give me some suggestions

If your afraid that you might leave it on after you get out of your car or somthing then splice your 12volt cig lighter or other ignition switched wire and hook it into there that way whenever you turn your car off it will go off also.
