i dont know a thing about sound sytems (watts...ohms....etc.)

i want a pretty decent system...but i dont what kind of subs i should get......

i wanted to know if someone smarter than me can help me....

i have about 400 for subs......

please help..... -thanks in advance....

p.s. whats a good amp to back these subs up?

you should try searching or just browse this section... there are tons and tons of options. different people have different opinions on products. best thing to do is goto your local store and listen to them, let your ears decide..

couple of questions... are you look for tweeters, high, mids, or just subs? you want it loud? you care about the quality? what kind of music do you listen to? but ya there are just so many options out there..
today i just ordered a jbl bp1200.1 amp and a 12" fosgate power hx2... i'll be pushing 1000 watts rms. total... $520 shipped plus box is probably another $50.

how about 2 jl w3's or a jl w6 or orion xtr pro 15's (see ebay for my auction and type exactly that; orion xtr pro) or if you want really loud, resonant engineering se series 10 inchers!!

id just go to a shop and let them handle it. dont wanna mess around if you dont really know what your doing and dont know where to start......
