well boys i don't know what the hell happen, but i pray to god it's nothing serious... i did something really stupid... i don't know how i managed to do this, but i did... it's so freak'n stupid... i passed a guy coming down my road and i was in 3rd, and i passed him an i was gonna shift at like 6500ish to 4th, and what do i do??? put it into fackin second... ... i am such an idiot... so i fired it into neutral, then the exhaust sounded odd... so i put it into 5th and was goin 80, sounded still funky... then the check engine light came on... then the battery light came on... and then my rpm's went to 0... i was like... oh $hiite... fired it into neutral, my steering went and brakes... they felt like super hard to push and turn... so i managed to get into my driveway by momentum, and now the car will not turn over... any suggestions... taking it in tomorrow to smiths falls or kars, not too sure which one... i'm scared...

Will it turn over? Unless your car has an over-rev protection that shuts things down and needs reset after the event then your motor may be toast.

it sounds like you blew your motor. if that happens, just pick up a used D17, its cheaper than a rebuild.

the motor wouldn't turn over at all... i left it overnight but didn't try turning it over this morning... but i think if it was something that simple, they would of phoned by now, considering they took the car away about 3 hours ago... flatbedded it to the dealership

i was thinkin about pickin up the used d17, but u kno.. maybe, if god is smiling upon me, maybe the k20 would be in question...

did you try to reset the ecu

^^^ you should try resetting the ecu.... i had similar problems when i blew a clutch line, it sounds strange... but i had the same symptoms happen in that order. Jut throwing that out there for trouble shooting help.
