iPOD

Does anyone have an iPOD hooked up to their existing system? I am thinking about using an FM modulator to do this but wanted any feedback about performance vs. hooking it up directly to my head unit via RCA cables.

Thanks

If you headunit has a AUX input, that would definitely be the best way to go. FM modulators are not known for their sound quality.

My brother has an FM modulator for hooking up his mini-disc player and it sounds about like how a tape would sound and it ****s up a lot...I wouldnt suggest it.

Yeah. I'm going to go straight into the AUX output.

I have a 10 GB iPod hooked up to the AiNet RCA Adapter for my Alpine 7893 (converts the XM connector into RCA inputs) and the sound is absolutely perfect CD quality....sounds awesome. Don't bother with the FM Modulator....those are useless.

Sounds good, I've got the 10gig and an Alpine as well, so I'm looking forward to 2000 crystal clear songs at my fingertips!
